Other Insurance Plans: Superbills
If we are not in-network with your plan, you can pay for your session and we will give you a superbill, an itemized receipt with the codes your insurance needs. You submit it to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Coverage depends on your plan, so we recommend calling your insurance before your first session.
Washington Insurance Plans
At this time, we are not in-network with Washington plans, including Apple Health. Washington clients can still use a superbill to request reimbursement from their insurance.
Gender-Affirming Care
Many insurance plans cover hair removal for gender-affirming care, including hair removal before surgery and, in some cases, facial hair removal. We are happy to help you with the paperwork your insurance asks for.
Documents You May Need
Requirements depend on your insurance plan. For gender-affirming hair removal, insurance companies often ask for:
-
A letter from your surgeon or primary care provider
-
A letter from a mental health provider.
Each plan is different, so please check with your insurance company. We are happy to help you figure out what you need.
How to Get Started
1. Contact us with your full name, phone number, email, and insurance provider.
